• [10/26] On December 10th, there will be a ceremony at LSMSA dedicating the LSMSA Auditorium for Former Louisiana Governor Dave Treen -- A strong supporter of the school under whose gubenatorial leadership the school was founded. [additional details 11/01]
• [3/7/01] Dr. Patrick Widhalm has accepted the position of Executive Director. Dr. Widhalm was previously a faculty member at LSMSA and headed the Arts Department for several years.

• LSMSA Memorial Proposals page -- an in progress discussion on the policies the alumni would like to see in place for memorializing departed student, faculty, and staff.
